Escape Room opening in Somerset
To escape the room, one has to first gain access to a stuffed goat. Freddy the goat, that is.
It is part of the game at Escape Room Somerset, which held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday at its location in the Georgian Place in Somerset.
The business is owned by Matt and Missy Harding, of Eighty Four, Washington County.
The couple also own two other escape rooms in Washington County and Akron, Ohio.
“We were looking for some place at least an hour, hour and a half from our other location, so we could move rooms,” Matt Harding said of choosing Somerset as the next location. “We’re just excited to be here.”
He said that he fell in love with Somerset after a visit during the winter. He added that the next closest escape rooms are in Johnstown and Greensburg.
